Hi I'm Alex - mum to two gorgeous boys, lover of all things gardening + creator of The Sunday Dippers!

It’s not just a backdrop, the ocean - it soothes, inspires & enhances. The sound of the waves, the ever-changing sky, the salty air - it all inspires and awakens my senses and feeds my sense of calm, wellbeing & general happiness.

Sea water swimming has brought me so much joy and clarity, especially in the beautiful setting of Clevedon Marine Lake. It’s a place where you can breathe deeply, dip slowly, and feel part of something bigger - even if you're swimming alone.

I started The Sunday Dippers to offer a space where people could connect - not just with the water, but with each other. It’s a mellow, social swim group where we meet for a dip, have a chat, and soak in the benefits of cold water and good company. There’s no pressure. No competition. Just community, connection, and a bit of shared madness in the best possible way.

Wellbeing matters, and being by the water - in it, near it, or simply watching it - can do wonders for your mood. Through the Sunday Dippers and my creative work, I hope to bring a little more of that coastal magic into people’s lives.
